Recapping all of the commitments so far for the 2017 recruiting class

We keep you up to date on all the college commitments for prospects in the 757, 804, Northern Virginia and beyond… Some of you don’t get to see it as clearly when you’re viewing the mobile site.
Here’s an update on all the commitments for the Class of 2017 as we know them. If there is anyone missing, let us know!

Hezekiah Grimsley – Virginia Tech
Eric Crosby – Tennessee
804:
Blake Bowen – Coastal Carolina
Anthony Roberson – UCF
Rayshard Ashby – Virginia Tech
Lindell Stone: the 6’2 committed to UVA in April, just after the Nike Opening Regional in Northern Virginia. He held 15 scholarship offers, including Purdue, Pitt, Ole Miss, Old Dominion, UCLA, Wake Forest and West Virginia.
Alex Faniel: the 6-5 225 pound quarterback out of Glen Allen committed to Ole Miss on June 2, 2016. He was rumored to be a heavy Virginia Tech lean, but made a commitment to the SEC school instead. He also held offers from Virginia Tech, Virginia, East Carolina, Temple and NC State.
NOVA:
Luiji Vilain – Michigan
Yetur Matos: The 6-5 235 pound defensive end out of Chancellor made his decision early. He committed to Penn State in February 2016. Matos held 20 offers, including a May offer from Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.
Tyjuan Garbutt: the 6-4 222 pound defensive end from Riverbend committed to Virginia Tech just days after National Signing Day 2016. He holds 20 offers, including schools like Georgia, Penn State, Oklahoma, Syracuse, Pitt and Tennesee.
Dylan Rivers: the 6-2 225 pound outside linebacker out of Sherando High School committed to the Nittany Lions during his Junior season. He picked up an LSU offer in February and holds offers from Arizona, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Virginia and many others, but remains committed to Penn State.
Cam Spence : the 6-4 . John’s College High School in Washington DC is a man among boys. He held offers from well over a dozen high profile colleges, but committed to Maryland in early April 2016.
Damani Neal: the 5-11 175 pound safety out of the Bullis School in Sterling, Virginia committed to Duke in Early April.
Lamont Atkins: the 5-11 200 pound running back from Lake Braddock High School committed to UVA in late April.
Tommy Christ: the 6-5 255 pound defensive tackle from Dominion High School in Sterling, Virginia committed to UVA on April 2.
Andrew Park: the 6-5 245 pound tight end from Lake Braddock High School committed to Maryland in early March, even after a hard recruiting push by Penn State and Virginia Tech.
Pierce Banbury: the 6-3 285 pound center from Oakton High School in Vienna, Virginia held offers from Cornell and Appalachian State, but committed to Navy in late May.
PK Kier: the 5-11 200 pound running back from Millbrook High School in Winchester, Virginia had offers from JMU, Appalachian State, Bucknell, Marshall and Old Dominion. He was committed to JMU, but flipped his committment yesterday and committed to UVA.
