There are a lot of deserving candidates in the 804 for the Fab 30. Our #29 player has only played football for a year, Carson Reynolds of Glen Allen High School.
This list is all about the rising seniors and every one of them already holds college scholarship offers.
#29 Carson Reynolds Glen Allen High School Punter 6-4 220
Carson is a phenomenal athlete despite only laying football for the first time last year as a junior. He came on the scene with a splash. He was voted First Team All-Conference and First All-Metro and Honorable Mention All State as a junior punter for the Glen Allen Jaguars.
He had the idea that he’d come out and play defensive line when he joined the football team. Instead, once he started punting, his strong left no doubt that he was the punter Coach Keylon Mayo had been looking for. The Jaguars went 1-9 in 2015, and the leg of Carson Reynolds certainly helped them in the battle for field position.
Carson punted 53 times and averaged 46 yards a punt with a long of 59 yards and he put 4 punts inside the 5-yard-line last season.
Carson is definitely a great weapon for the Jaguars and should be just as effective as a senior. He has great size for a punter and is already on the college radar. Specialists don’t always win athletic scholarships straight out of high school, but Carson has our endorsement.
